Garrett Pewe is a seasoned Project Manager with extensive experience in managing complex construction projects. With a strong background in overseeing multi-million-dollar civil infrastructure projects, Garrett brings a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of project management processes, all of which are critical for the successful delivery of construction projects on tribal lands. His ability to manage large-scale projects demonstrates his capacity to handle the complexities of any project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
As the Vice President of Sovereignty Construction Inc., Garrett has been instrumental in establishing the company’s operational frameworks, including developing comprehensive project templates and standardizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). His role as Project Manager for the Cahuilla Band of Indians has further honed his skills, notably through his management of the construction of a 2-acre pad and a 3,000 sq. ft. warehouse with a 1,000 sq. ft. office interior buildout. This project required close coordination with skilled tradesmen, local utility departments, and various stakeholders, ensuring all work was completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
He has successfully managed projects that required moving large volumes of earth and achieving specific compaction rates, ensuring that the groundwork is solid and ready for construction. This experience is directly applicable to the preparation of homesite pads, where achieving the correct compaction and grading is crucial for the longevity and stability of the new homes.
